Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, this position will provide Human Resources Generalist support to client groups at the corporate office in Irving, Texas and field exploration & production groups in South and West Panhandle Texas and Alaska. Primary responsibilities include heavy emphasis on recruiting and retention; conducting new employee orientations; assisting employees with general questions relating to benefits, payroll, time attendance and HR policies/procedures; providing guidance to managers regarding the interpretation and administration of Company policies and procedures, counseling/consulting on employee performance, discipline and termination issues; assist with/complete needed investigations and other employee relations issues, partner with learning & organizational development to address needs of employees and the Company, establish/implement HR work procedures, policies, standards, goals and objectives, and priorities in the areas being supported.

Requires a BS/BA degree with 5-8 years generalist background; experience in Oil & Gas industry would be a strong plus. Candidate must have broad-based generalist experience including recruitment and staffing, employee relations, training & development, compensation & benefits, EEO/Compliance and understanding of employment law. Requires strong verbal and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills. Candidate must be able work effectively with managers including upper management, field personnel and HR teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to changes quickly. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and have prior experience with HRIS.
