This person will contact/correspond with owners of minerals or leasehold estates and negotiate for oil and gas leases, farm-in agreements, or other acquisition of the interest, prepare oil and gas leases and obtain execution of them. Coordinate with the Land Department, brokers, land owners, abstract companies or other required persons in obtaining abstracts of title for preparation of drilling opinions or division order title opinions. Prepare AFE's for execution by Company management or third party working interest owners for jointly operated properties and coordinate with Operations as to plans for drilling activity, well locations, etc., in order to schedule required contacts with surface owners. Contact or direct others to contact surface owners in advance of Company activities on their property to establish appropriate rapport and make any needed arrangements for such activity.

A Bachelorís degree in Business or higher level degree is required (emphasis in Land Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, or Marketing). At least 15 years of Petroleum Land experience in responsible position is required. A significant portion of which involves negotiation/preparation of oil and gas contracts, negotiations with mineral and leasehold estate owners and surface landowners, mineral and feel ownership determination from the public records, and some level of leadership or management exposure. Excellent presentation skills are required and the ideal candidate must be capable of functioning independently with very little or no direct supervision.
