By owning service equipment, integrating specialized services and hiring the right people for the job, Pioneer is reducing drilling and completions costs while supporting the execution of its development program. The Company’s vertical integration model is designed to complement operations and provide superior returns on investment.

Sand Services

In April 2012, Pioneer acquired a large U.S. industrial sands company, which was renamed Premier Silica and later became known as Pioneer Sands in June 2017.
