Pioneer Announces Conference Call to Discuss New $1 Billion Share Repurchase Program and Other Strategic Initiatives

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 2005--Pioneer Natural Resources Company (NYSE:PXD) today announced that this morning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, the Company will conduct a conference call to discuss its new $1 billion share repurchase program and other strategic initiatives.
