Maintain digital log library. Implement log data backup/archive procedures. Distribute log prints, films, and digital tapes for Pioneer and OBO wells. Maintain composite mudlog and LWD prints for current wells. Complete DLIS/LIS/LAS to Petra/SMT data migration. Download log data from service companies. Load digital data into Petra/SMT. Curve splicing, depth alignment, and curve repair. MD-TVD conversions. Standardize curve naming conventions for raw composite curves. Coordinate log purchases/digitization projects. Load and preprocess dipmeter and borehole image data. Core and thinsection photo scanning and transfer to digital format. Maintain petrophysical and engineering reference libraries including PI Pressure Database, Deep Water GOM Core Study, World-Wide Rock Catalog, and SPE Image Database. Facilitate database clean-up efforts in Petra/SMT for migration to Corporate Datastore. Curve loading to Petrel and Eclipse for reservoir characterization projects and reservoir simulation.

An Associates degree is required; a Bachelorís degree is desired preferably in Geology, Geophysics or Petrophysics. Education should include mathematical and computer training. A minimum of 5 years experience is required in well log data management and the ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of well log types and petrophysical operations.
